What motivated us?

When I led in-house legal functions at Bosch, Getty Images and a listed financial services company, I experienced the problem of managing compliance at scale.

We operated in highly regulated industries across multiple jurisdictions and languages while navigating the extra rigour required from being listed on the NYSE, NASDAQ and ASX.

I saw first-hand the headwinds in compliance that in every way possible are worse today than ever before with no relief in sight.

The compliance challenges faced by legal, risk and compliance teams are vast but can be summarised as follows:

• The law is increasingly complex and evolving.

• Regulators are more sophisticated and aggressive.

• Budgets for legal, risk and compliance teams are tightening.
